Today is Wednesday, which means Quote Day here at Refilling the Well.

To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.

-Joseph Chilton Pearce

Creativity is rarely perfect. Especially the first time out. Sometimes first efforts are, if not wrong, then at least not right.

The spark of creativity provides the idea, the impetus for getting started. It’s our responsibility to take that spark and form it into something  pleasing to us. Sometimes those efforts need to be edited or redone.

I would daresay Picasso didn’t paint a masterpiece his first time out. We know Leonardo daVinci didn’t. Some of his sketchbooks have been found and published proving that.

What will you do to refine your original spark of creativity today?
