Observe
Observe Everything.
Communicate Well.
Draw, Draw, Draw.

An alternative to that could be “write, write, write” or “sing, sing, sing” or “dance, dance, dance.” You get the idea. There’s no sense in me repeating it for every creative discipline that’s out there. This post would never end if I were to do that.
It goes along with what I posted yesterday and the day before about using our senses. We need to observe, pay attention, to everything using all of our senses.
You don’t observe just with your eyes. Observation requires everything you have. It requires being in the moment and being aware of not just what’s going on immediately around you, but what is going on at a distance and even within you yourself.
Observing in such a way lets you participate in life, which is a vital part of refilling your creative well.
