Creative Writing Prompts
I can’t begin to count the number of times I have sat down at the computer or at a table with pen & paper in hand and honestly could not think of anything to write.
Creative Writing Prompts is a good source to go to if you’re having trouble getting started. Hover your mouse over a number and read the prompt.
The instructions — and the website itself — say to write, but it seems like many of the prompts would lead themselves to other creative forms as well.
I need to write a few of the prompts down to keep in my notebook for those times I’m not at the computer. I think writing them on index cards for painting, dancing, or cooking would work well also.
